We are looking forward to welcoming you to Bastion Restaurant. Please read the following Term's & Conditions carefully prior to completing your reservation with us:
Please note online bookings cease 1 hour before we open, please feel free to give us a call after that.

Please see some of your options to dine at Bastion. We offer a short four course tasting menu available at 5:15pm and our signature multi course tasting menu available at 7:15pm. We offer an optional carefully curated wine pairing to enjoy with both our discovery and signature tasting menus. We kindly ask that guests please arrive on time as this is a collective dining experience. In the event that the booking is not honoured in whole or in part, or is cancelled by you with less than 72 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of full menu price per person not attending will be charged to the card provided.

We also offer a selection of snacks at our bar throughout the evening so please join us for a drink from 5pm. No reservation required

Please note we only serve one tasting menu and are unable to accommodate allergies or intolerances or likes/dislikes.

We don't have a dress code as we would like our guests to be able to express their own individual style. However, we find the majority of our guests like to dress smartly and we appreciate it too!

Children
As we are a small intimate restaurant, we unfortunately do not accommodate Children under 12 years of age. Children over 12 are welcome on the premises however we do ask that they participate in our eight course tasting menu. We do not have child friendly facilities and we wish to respect all of our diners experience.

Food & Drink
Ingredients:
We use the finest ingredients available to us and the best of what the season has to offer.

Alcohol:
We offer a curated wine menu. Non-alcoholic drink options are also available. (We do not offer beer or spirits.) A suggested wine pairing is available for our Tasting menu.

Reservations:
Our online reservations is on a rolling 30 day timeframe.

We accept bookings online through our third party, Res Diary and also directly over the phone ( 021-4709696) where we can put your reservation into Res Diary for you, In both cases, Credit Card details are required to secure your booking with us.

Only upon completion of your booking on Res Diary, a confirmation email will be sent to you with a unique reference number, confirming your reservation. Credit Card details are held securely through a third party (Stripe).

Waiting List:
Should we not have availability on your desired date, you can add your name to the waiting list on Res Diary and should a cancellation arise, we will be in touch via phone or email. By being on our Waiting List, it does not guarantee you a table.

Short Four Course Tasting menu €80.00pp
When Thursday- Sunday
Time : available only at 5:15pm
Please allow 1.5 hours

HOW TO BOOK

We release one month at a time for dinner reservations, online through our website via the Res Diary booking widget ( which is located on this page), on a first come first serve basis. it is a rolling 30 day system so for example if you want to book for June 15th that date will be available to book come May 15th etc.

Credit card details are required to secure your reservation. No payment is taken at the time of booking and you can settle directly with us on the evening you dine.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note you will be able to cancel your reservation via the confirmation email you received upon booking. Should you wish to cancel your reservation with less than 72 hours notice of dining or if a no-show was to occur, full payment (the menu price) by the number of expected guests, will be charged to the credit card used to secure the table.

Should you wish to make a booking for a larger table e.g over four guests please reach out to us via email.

WAITLIST

Should your preferred date be fully booked, a limited amount of people can add themselves to the Standby List which can be done by clicking the 'Clock' symbol after selecting a date and time on the website booking widget.

Please note you can book one month in advance of your booking date. For example if you would like to book for the 15th August 2024 this date will become available for you to book on the 15th July 2024. Our booking site operates on a rolling 30 day basis.
