Please note online bookings cease 1 hour before we open, please feel free to give us a call after that. We will always call you on the day to confirm both online and phone bookings.

Thank you for making your reservation at Bastion. We offer an eight course tasting menu only. In the event that the booking is not honoured in whole or in part, or is cancelled by you with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of full menu price per person not attending will be charged to the card provided.

Please note that Bastion restaurant has reserved your table for a period 3 hours from the reservation time stated (unless otherwise stated).
Please note the above indicates from the time that your table is booked. If you wish to join us earlier, your party will be warmly welcomed in our bar for pre or post dining drinks.
We don't have a dress code as we would like our guests to be able to express their own individual style. However, we find the majority of our guests like to dress smartly and we appreciate it too!

To help us provide the best possible dining experience to you and your guests, we would very much appreciate advanced notice of any special dietary requirements as requirements on the night can be difficult and sometimes impossible, unfortunately we are unable provide vegan or dairy free dining.

Group and large party details (5 or above)
Any modifications or cancellations will require you to contact the restaurant directly. These cancellations or modifications are held to the restaurant's booking procedure, which is in the event that the booking is not honoured in whole or in part by you, or is cancelled by you with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a charge of full menu price per person to your card.

Children
As we are a small 36 seater Restaurant, we unfortunately do not accommodate Children under 12 years of age. Children over 12 are welcome on the premises however we do ask that they participate in our eight course tasting menu. We do not have child friendly facilities and we wish to respect all of our diners experience.

Food & Drink
Ingredients:
We use the finest ingredients available to us and the best of what the season has to offer.

Alcohol:
We offer a curated wine menu. Non-alcoholic drink options are also available. (We do not offer beer or spirits.) A suggested wine pairing is available for our Tasting menu.

Reservations:
We accept bookings online through our third party, Res Diary and also directly over the phone ( 021-4709696) where we can put your reservation into ResDiary for you, In both cases, Credit Card details are required to secure your booking with us.
Only upon completion of your booking on Res Diary, a confirmation email will be sent to you with a unique reference number, confirming your reservation. Credit Card details are held securely through a third party (Stripe).

Waiting List:
Should we not have availability on your desired date, you can contact us directly and we can add your name to our Waiting List and should a cancellation arise, we will be in touch. By being on our Waiting List, it does not guarantee you a table.
